I would have to totally agree.  I believe we have a fantastic development, yes it is not as advertised when we purchased in 2008 but compared to many developments we are very fortunate.  It is very well maintained and developed nicelly over the years.  We come out 3 or 4 times a year and will occassionally allow family and friends to stay, never have we received negative comments.  In fact nothing but positives.  There is enough to do on site and absolutely tons to do nearby, be it restaurants at Mazzaron etc, golf at numerous top quality courses and activities like karting etc.  All in all a great package for family holidays especially for those that dont mind travelling to get to what they want.

The karting on the way to Alhama De Murcia is excellent.  We have been twice and took our 13 year old daughter who loved it.  Not sure on age limit however it is only 10 minutes away so drive up and check it out.  Great track and good karts which you can choose different power on.  I think it opens from 4pm daily.

Try "ClubMurcia" who I used recently and who seemed to give us some great deals.  Depends how long you want to travel to a course and budget but I would recommend the following:

 

Aguilon which is about 50-60 mins away but really picturesque and challenging.

Las Colinas which is about 45-50 mins away, a but pricey but top notch.

Lorca is about 40 mins away and again really challenging but well worth it.

 

Can't fault any of above and would have to say Aguilon and Lorca were great value for money; around 35 euros a head including buggy (in May).  ClubMurcia is a great website and got us some superb deals at above courses.
