i was out of contract, chased the agent up for a couple of weeks, withheld my rent until new contract was signed. During that time i handed my notice on the apt as i was fed up trying to chase the new contract. I then got an email telling me that i wasn't in a position to hand notice in because i was behind in the rent. I then reminded her that she had a deposit. The response was the deposit isn't held for non payment of rent. I asked what it was for & not had a reply. I have since been notified that she is going to pursue a denuncia against me with an embargo on my bank account. Is this legal, if so how long will it take for the embargo to be enforced.

Just an update since i posted this, i have found out by a mangement company that it's not illegal yet as systems can be used by using recclaimed gas, (if you can find any). They can also be converted to use newer gas, but the cheaper option is to have the new units installed

Hi every one

 

I am only a tennant but have had trouble with my aircon. i have had 3 engineers out to look at it ( the compressor has seized) and without wanting to upset anyone all have said the same thing. It is unrepairable as " the units are illegal, as from the 01/01/2010".

from this date the gas they use is a type called R22 which is illegal now in Spain and throughout most of Europe, so therefore the only repair is to put a complete system in with the cheapest quote i have had is around the €3,000 mark.

I am passing this information on in case anyone knows different as i'm a computer engineer not an aircon geek, and to warn them of any possible heart attack if they get told the same thing as i have, and also if anybody knows if the units are still under warranty as i guess the whole estate have the same Aircon units installed, which as far as i work out  they were installed when the legislation was already passed for the date of them becoming obsolete. By the way i'm trying to get hold of my owner to let them know .

as far as i know at least half the population on this urbanization are dog owners, that took either a tenancy or bought on the understanding that there was public access to the open land at the back of block 12.

now without any consultation (as far as i am aware ) they decided to block that access off. i actually live in block 12 so when dog owners bring their dogs upto the now locked gate, soon to NEW extra high locked gate they cant get any further so they let their dog do their business and walk off. now before you think im moaning i too am a dog owner caught in the same dilemma as others. by the way it does stink.

would it not be a better idea to use the time and money that is being used for the new fence,  to finish the jobs around the estate such as 2 swimming pool that are the frogs best pick up point, they're actually better than the couple used by humans and the gardener has the best job in the world as only a small proportion is landscaped. then there is the ongoing drama of the drains in block 12 or lack of that the communnty has known about for the past god knows how long.

all the trouble for the dog owners has been caused by 1 person who has a holiday home in block 12 who comes out occaisionally for a week at a time. i think he and the president are ...........well you know what i mean.

and for my final rant does anybody know any other development where the presidents email is a mystery as i thought part of their job is to talk to residents and help solve their frustations
