I've had some contact recently, a progress report which wasn't very informative, but they are still out there unless something has happened within the last few weeks. They moved all the aftersales to their Torrevieja office. E-mail I have used is aftersales@ambersuninternational.com

I was on site yesterday (28th) and was told by Patricia that the licences for Phase 1, 2 and 3 had been signed and issued on Tuesday of this week. We are buying in Phase 2. She also said the builders had started that day. There was not much evidence of work starting in the location of the 1st phase but materials where being moved and a generator has been located next to the phase 1 foundation work which was done previously.

She is still giving the line of completion in March 2008

It was also very apparent that the mood of the office had changed, they were obviously pleased at the step forward and none of the defensive behaviours I have seen in the past.

As everyone else has reported the infrastructure work continues at pace and the difference since I was last there in November is staggering, particularly the removal of the hillock which was in front of Beverly Hills, which is now integrated into the site.

One thing which is not clear to me is the construction of what appears to be a massive car park on the West of the site past the wooded area. Does anyone know what that is to be?

Hi, my 1st post on this board albeit I've been watching with interest. We are buying on Phase 2 (originally contracted to complete March 2006) I got back from a visit last night and there has cetainly been significant progress since my last inspection in April. Lots of work on roads, water, gas and drainage pipes, lots of manhole covers evident.

However the message I got was similar the the previous post, Actual construction to start in Jan/Feb completion of phases 1, 2, 3 and another, the number of which I forget, in March 2008 , with other phases in July and Sept 2008. It seems the regional authority are insisting on all of the infrastructure to be complete as a consequence of some less proffesional builders in the region building houses before completion of services

Very disappointing, but some consolation was the warm sunshine in San Juan on 22 November!!
