I WAS NOT CONTACTED BY PW BUT FOUND OUT VIA THIS FORUM THAT MY APARTMENT WAS NOT GOING TO BUILT.

  MY SOLICITOR CAME WITH ME TO A MEETING I ARRANGED WITH PW( PW DID NOT KNOW HE WAS COMING WITH ME)

I WAS TOLD THEY HAD TRIED TO CONTACT ME BUT HAD NO DETAILS (THEY HAVE MY WORK& HM TEL,MY ADDRESS, MY AGENTS DETAILS AND E MAIL).

I WAS OFFERED TWO ALTERNATIVE PROPERTIES, SAME PRICE NO DISCOUNT AND FAR INFERIOR  (ONE HAD A BRICK WALL RIGHT OUTSIDE WINDOW ) MY SOLICITOR HAS NOW LODGED THE PAPERWORK AT COURT AS WE INTEND TO SUE FOR THE RETURN OF MY DEPOSIT. THE 18 MONTH CLAUSE THEY CONDIDER IS AN ABUSE.

Ask for a reclamacion (complaint form).  It can be filled out in English and have to be stamped 1 copy to you.

 All establishments have to have them by law. They are sent to Murcia and taken very seriously, (much more serious then a gen complaint form in UK)they are then investigated. Most places will do anything to prevent having to give them out but you can call the police if you are refused one.

For those of you who have to watch the pennies fly screen material can be purchased by the metre from most ferretieras for a few euro a metre and is quite easy to fly screen most areas

Strong winds are the norm in the first 3 months of the year, sometimes also in Oct&Nov.  The come from nowhere and can reach very high speeds.  I would therefore suggest that all awnings etc are taken down during the winter months.  Be very careful also with individual sat dishes as these are very often damaged if not really secured.
