Thanks for the update - does sound promising. We are over in the next couple of weeks, and I was hoping that there might be some new facilities ready. I agree a hairdresser/beauty salon could do well (especially while the hotel remains closed).

Having said that however I'm sure we'll have a great time as usual - The Spaniard Inn and Clubhouse are great, and it will just be nice to see some sunshine!!

 Hi

This thread has gone very quiet !- no evidence of any work on Murcia Villas Facebook page as promised. Hope this doesn't turn out to be another false dawn.

Does anybody have up-to-date news on progress?

Best regards

Its good to read some positive comments. We were staying at our house on phase 1 early in July and the negative posts certainly weren't represenative of what we found. I was worried things had taken a turn for the worse!

We have owned our place since 2004 and have spent many happy holidays there since. Friends and family have also loved it.

My husband is there at the moment for a golf holiday, so I've asked him to check out the resort and report back!

Arrived at HDA yesterday and wandered down to the Spaniard Inn for lunch at around 3.30pm today. Everything closed and no-one about. Shop also closed - wondered what's going on?

Hi all who cares,

Can anyone tell me if Roberto Alaves is still involved with the running of resort in any way. The most important thing about all this is Armillar were the building arm of La caixa bank, we were told when we bought back in 2003. If they have taken over the running of resort does this include Roberto? If it does nothing has changed. I have tried to find out if Armilar still exist but it is very difficult to find this sort of detail out. Have Armilar disappeared in name only, and the bank are now apparently running the show but with the same personnel in place?

The uncertainty and lack of information is quite worrying - even the so called official website seems to have disappeared and now concentrates solely on the Golf & sports side of things.

If La Caixa are intending to complete the building in progress, who is doing the marketing?

Does anyone who actually lives on the resort know anything more definite?

Its good to see people communicating  - we need to do this more.

Sharon
