Being lazy I've not read through all the previous emails but we're on Phase 1 & should have completed June 06.

About 3 months ago we intended to terminate our contract as we were just sick & tired of waiting - after speaking to our Spanish solicitor you only have 3 months after the completion date to terminate to get your deposit back - after that you can terminate any time but loose your 40% deposit !!!

On a positive note we are now set to complete 18/10/07

Yippeeeee !!

Shock Horror !

We're Phase One on HR & have also been contacted with a date of the 10th October.

I've forwarded the email to my solicitor (only today) & will keep you informed of any developments.

On a positive note it looks like at long last there is light at the end of the tunnel (or is it a train coming ?)

I think we are stuck with. We even tried to withdraw from the purchase but on reading the small print & advice from our lawyer you only have 90 days from the agreed date of completion (June 06) to claim your deposit back. We could withdraw from the sale but would loose the 40%.

So I'm afraid we are going to have to wait - but it's very poor to say the least.

I admire your optomism - We're buying in phase 1 which due for completion June 2006 with no sign of completiom imminent & if it is finished for Dec I would put money on that the Golf Course will not be playable by then.
