I agree with your viewpoint and as I have stated on previous postings we are very concerned with the lack of committment from PW with facilities for La Isla and decisions to re-locate town centre. Will Oasis, La Isla Club and golf course ever materialise?

Not too sure of what to do right now......

Hi again and thanks for the replies. I know this is a long term project but 10 years (Alison and Simon) is too long for me to be waiting. I was always told, although as ever never got PW to write it down, that Club La Isla (with pool) would be completed at the same time as the apartments and the Oasis/Golf Course looking out from La Isla would be completed in 2010. As recently as June 09, I was told this on the phone. I realise the economy nose-dived but PW still want our money to complete yet evidentally want to slow down, change plans and not deliver their part of the deal for La Isla in anything like a reasonable timescale, if at all.

I am very close to completion too but feel cheated and mis-led right now. Surely I am not alone and even the eternal optimists out there must have doubts?

Agree totally about the garden design - quite poor.

Don't hold your breath on Club La Isla appearing anytime soon, no foundations yet and all construction completed for now on the island. Space looks very much reduced as well and heard from Polaris Customer Service that if it does get built, it will be a chill out area and splash pool....whatever that means! Have to say from the photos on the forum that the two pools are very very small to cater for 384 apartments.

I am trying to remain hugely optimistic and think long-term but when I look at Polaris decisions such as building Al Kazar to replace Foro and Agora, and re-numbering the holes on the 1st golf course........ I can't help but think Oasis, Club La Isla and two more golf courses are many, many, many years away.... if at all.

Any more views out there?

Has anyone got any news on how completions are going on La Isla. Keep hearing mixed messages that everything is great, La Isla is looking fantastic and everyone is completing about now............through to............... it's way short of expectations, Oasis, golf course and La Isla Club are on hold.

It would be good to know out of the 384 apartments Polaris have sold how many have completed so far.
