Hi All

Just thought you might be interested in an email I received from Grupo Mirador (are you still standing), a couple of days ago. As follows:

Answering to your mail received on the 6th June about the above mentioned development (La Perla). After the diverse stops that we have come to suffer as a consequence of the civil actions of character interdictal interposed by the owners community of La Perla, as well as the delay accumulated by the modifications of the project , we have had to realize and adjust it to the archaeological deposits  that  appeared in the zone. Two months ago we have proceeded to the restart of the works.Having been reached the execution of walls and  contracted again the execution of the piles. The reason why we havent informed you before is because we have been informing directly to Palmera Properties your  sales agent. Anyway as soon as we have news in this matter we will keep you informed.  

Who do we believe. My main concern is that after waiting nearly 5 years, are we now going to miss out on our investment which will be huge, if eventually they are completed.   I have emailed this to Gwillym of CSAG.  Any thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all

I have also managed to speak to Diego Doblas from Mirador.two weeks ago. He asked me to send him a fax asking all the questions I wanted to know. He more or less told me the same as Rob Hayles. There are two ways to go either try for money back or after waiting so long  (5 yrs) we may be missing out on our original investment.  Perhaps they will be happy giving money back so that they can sell at a much higher price. Who knows. I have been in touch with The Rights Group (which includes genuine lawyers)  in Marbella who seem to know a lot about PP and Mirador. I am waiting for an email from them explaining what can be done if you wish to pursue your money  back.

We have freinds who live in Benalmadena Pueblo which is just above La Perla site. They have informed me that building work is going on there at the moment. Locals have said that buiding work is going ahead despite some protests from the locals. They are working around the Roman ruins area, and Mirador have told the locals that they will plant more trees to give them privacy. This is the latest news that we have. The next big step is receiving new contracts and waiting for the go ahead to resell. Mirador and Palmera do not have a good relationship because of all the problems between them, we can only hope its soon.  (Wev been waiting 4 years) Does any one have any further news.????

The Town Hall in Benalmadena phoned me today and said that the meeting they had with the council confirmed that building licence has indeed been granted. Unfortunately she couldnt  tell me when the construction work will start moving. Spoke to Palmera and they also spoke to Town Hall today and were told the same. They tell me that  they will be presuring Mirador for info on build work. They have their lawyers onto it. Cannot put up for resale until they have seen licence and new contracts.

Good information. I am waiting to hear from Town Hall in Benalmadena end of January. I was told licence was on hold and a meeting with the council will give more information. The Builders name that I have been given (Diego Doblas) is the one with information about La Perla build. Lets hope your info from lawyers  is the beginning of  further development.
