Hi every one on SG

Our solicitor is asking about our IBI receit (council tax) for 2009. She says these are normally issued about sept / oct each year. I'm sure i've read some thing on EOS before about this but i can't find it? Anybody got any information on this subject as i'm real keen to pay this Spanish tax as well as my local one back here in the UK. Angie is out at our place on SG at the moment  and i'm out for a couple of weeks from 11th sept onwards. Any information would be nice. See you all soon.

ps. I'm there for captains day so see all of you golfers then, it promises to be a great day. Many thanks to the commitee for organising it.

Hi everybody, this is my SG golf story.

Four regular Sunday morning golfers decided that it would be really good to play a game of golf Christmas day and there and then decided they would do it. Anyway the great day came and all four of them turned up at 10:00. The first guy says - this game had better be a good one as it had cost him a fortune, he had bought his wife a diamond ring for christmas and she was at home now just staring at it.

The second guy agreed, he bought his wife a new car and she was at home reading the manual and playing with all the dials.

The third guy said he booked a cruise and his wife was at home going through the book to see whitch one she wanted.

The fourth guy looked at his friends in amazement and said "I can't believe you all spent so much money. I woke up this morning and and wished my wife a merry christmas and then said it was a great morning for golf OR sex" . She turned over and repleid " you had better take a jumper as it looks cold out there".

See you all at christmas for a few games, though not on christmas day.

Hi

I've just flown back from S.G. today, Sunday, and can confirm that there is a sign thats says the course is open and the cost is 10 euros. This will be for 9 holes as thats all thats there at the moment.
However, the bad news, the greens are really great and look lovely but there are no holes in any of them and a lot of the bunkers are still empty of sand. 
We walked the entire course on Saturday evening and it looks like it has the potential to be a very good course. It has about 6 lakes, some already have water in. Two of the lakes look like they are going to be a "water feature"  as it looks like one lake is designed to overflow into the other. The fairways on the starting holes are really good. A couple of the fairways, probably no6 / no7 need to be re seeded in parts. The tee boxes are in the worse condition, they've been seeded but it likes like some thing went wrong as i didn't see a good one.
Its not a million miles away and we could be open and playing golf before christmas.

Hola to all on Sierra Golf.

We'.ve completed and will fly out to our villa,  for the first time, on 24th September . 
I will be bringing my golf clubs and if you want i can bring a leftie 7 iron with me in my bag. Also i would be glad to give a basic lesson, I'm no pro but know enough to get you started. 
We seem to have waited a long time for this to all happen but now it has we can't wait! 
We are in an open, M16-5, and if you want to drop by and say hello thats fine by us.
