Which bank are you with as this would help to know. People who are currently having difficulty are with banco pastor. They are paying 900 euros but I believe this covers the full cost of getting money back (ie litigation also) which in their case may be a blessing as it sounds as though they may need it.

It may be worth chasing your solicitor next week to find out if it has been agreed..if it has then this will help those from Banco pastor who have had theirs declined on the alleged instruction of the administrators - who I agree should play no part.

having re read the thread it would appear that mine has been edited whilst others have been removed completely. I thought the whole point of these forums was to help others I am very disappointed that this information hs been taken from those that may need it or may wish to know an Tony... you would have made sense then!!

no no such thing just mentioned that another forum was saying that memebrs with bank guarantees had hit a stumbling block relating to reclaiming. I also put the web address and the mobile of the admin if people wanted to chat with a note that, under the circumstances I hoped the amin on here wouldnt mind.

I would suggest if not that your contact may be cutting corners and leaving himself wide open. Any  lawyer would not do this and leave themselves open to allegations of abuse.The only way you would not grant POA is if you speak and write fluent spanish. 

I agree  should not be your priority as I do not want my house anymore..so when you have done everything then I will look forward to reading your Q&A
