I agree it is strange that there are so many cranes on site if they don't intend building soon so here's hoping!

I was only reporting the detail of the latest written advice from our lawyer.Basically as I understand it the Rezoning could happen at any time from now on  and the Building Licence timescale depends largely on the Town Hall in Campos Del Rio and TH(I have to say I'd believe our lawyer over an employee of TH about the need for a Building Licence)

With a push from both sides and a bit of luck that could happen pretty quickly but our lawyers view is that we should not expect or rely on that - well what else is a lawyer going to say!

Anyway the most important thing for me is that our lawyer is more positive all the time that TH will be built its just hard for him to say when and I can put up with delays so long as the place is built.

I'm not concerned by the reduction from 3 Hotels to 1as I think 3 was too many for this development anyway.Even La Manga Club has only 1 Hotel (I think).I'd be much more concerned to see that there are enough restaurants (our contract says 3 at a minimum I think)and a few shops. A decent pub or two wouldn't go amiss either.

Given the interest being shown in the webcam I would like to suggest a prize be awarded to the first Board Member to moon the webcam .

I don't understand why the cranes are there before rezoning.Maybe someone else knows.Perhaps they're allowed to do some more infrastructural works at their own risk.

By the way our Lawyer was on to the Town Hall at Campos Del Rio and said they seemed very keen for the project to get going and were frustrated at the delays to date also.

Not really Joe,just got an update from my lawyer the other day.He was out on site recently and met Antonio and the new lawyer.

It'll be another 4 or 5 months before I hear from him again so I'll be relying on others on this board for info in the meantime.
