I have just received an email from my solicitor which I am sure will be of interest to everyone! The MD of the developers has told him that the the first occupation license will be in place this coming week and they will request completion of purchase then.

When I was in Spain last month I talked to my solicitor about possible compensation if (when?) completion date was later than the date in the contract + 3 months. He seemed very surprised by this and said that you 'might' be able to achieve something through the courts but that it was unlikey to be worth it! Ross

Hi All, Just returned from Fuengirola and apart from the pool areas and some pavements nothing much seems to have been done since my last visit in April. The smart money ( info gained from my solicitor and Viva Estates ) is that completion of work will be early next year and they will be ready for occupancy in maybe March.
