Hello everyone.

Yes as you can guess from the title of the post I am new to the forum. I have a friend that suggested I join this forum as my wife and I are interested in purchasing a property in Spain for future retirement and in the intervening years for rent. It was suggested that this forum may have topics of interest for the Newbie…um that be me.

Anyway, if anyone out there has any suggestions on what would make good reading on the subject I would very much appreciate it. You should know that I am not a UK citizen, I live in the great white North, what we otherwise call Canada, so UK rules don’t apply, with one exception and that is my wife has a UK passport.

So that in itself makes for some questions that I would love to get answered.

 

Anyway, any suggestions polite or otherwise would be appreciated.
