I've just completed on one of the apartments (came back at weekend when the weather started to get better) but im not moving anything in at all until i've had grills fitted.  One of the big clues to burglars i'm told is the outside light and possibly the air con motor depending where its located. Once they're fitted its a sign that its changed hands from the builder.  I suppose the burglars move around the new sites looking for easy pickings, once the site becomes inhabited and established hopefully the criminals will move on.  Its a lovely area and i hope to be able to enjoy it without too much hassle.

I'm buying one of the 3 story apartments on phase 1.  I'm concerned that the builder hasn't applied for the licence of first occupancy, and am refusing to sign until he does. Did that not worry you?
