Community thread: Legalisation of unlicensed rural properties through the MIT license

That's more good news JK, thanks.

I was thinking as I drove today that maybe something highlighting MIT could be played on the coastal or inland radio stations, do you have resources to put something out there? Any radio jocks out there able to help?

It's time critical I think and a very widespread reach to the audience is required.

I did send a local estate agent your YouTube channel link and the English version of the MIT guide but there needs to be saturation.

Is there an email address or office for owners seeking more information to reach out to? I guess until numbers ramp up dramatically there are very limited resources at your disposal.

Clearly your position and what you are achieving with the roadshows plus your influence and professional network  is awesome, how can we help further in reaching the target audience for you...

Hi JK,

I attended the Orihuela event where you gave a great presentation. Also present was Vincente Garcia Nebot, Valencian Director General Urbanismo. I attended along with our legal team and some neighbours.

We are on a small estate of 20 homes and have been on a journey of 14 years to correct the legal situation of the properties. The law changed 4 times during that period and there was never a clear process or mechanism that could be utilized by our Town Hall to allow legal certainty to be applied. A case of kicking the proverbial can down the road.

Anyway, having read the Guide for the MIT process and watching the YouTube presentations you have put together I am extremely hopeful that our long journey has an end in sight.

We are doing the PE - Plan Especial route because there are common utilities requirements for the collective. We have always known costs will be applied for licenses and work to complete the 'project' and we are expecting our legal team to prepare them with consultation with our Town Hall very soon.

There is the individual route (DSI), but it doesn't apply to our case.

There seems to be a sense of commitment from the authorities now, finally being able to have full 'rights' of owning property we believed were legal from purchase is immensely valuable to our health and will ensure no horror stories emerge in our future.

Thanks JK, I really hope the message spreads to those who are in the same situation.

I am hopeful that because we are are in a sense a 'pilot' for the MIT PE route that it will provide useful for others in similar settings to follow.

Well done Keith,

Having just returned from a military deployment to Afghanistan im heartened to read your comments and see the fire still burns in your belly !! If we had a couple a dozen Keith Rule's working in Afghanistan then we would be done and dusted there by now. Keep up the good work.

our situation has not changed much on Finca Los Mazones since I left last year, except that we finally have a contract drafted by our solicitor to get an electrical engineer to start work on the ropey electric supply we were left with by that bunch of crooks who also were involved with your development. Otherwise, our homes are still as illegal as they were last time we spoke.

Wish I had neighbours with the guts and determination of you and Reg......

DEVELOPER OF THE UNFINISHED URBANIZACIÓN HELLIN OF THE FIG TREE (FINCAPARCS) HAS BEEN DECLARED INSOLVENT

The developer of the unfinished macro urbanización hellineros of The fig tree has been declared insolvent. . The Trade Register Gazette published on 21 September, the court decision that considers the firm Cleyton Ges unable to pay its debts.
The official declaration of insolvency of the developer (which began construction on a development of over six hundred houses in an isolated spot, between the Sierra de los Donceles and Camarillas Reservoir) is consequence of the decision of the Labour Court No. 2 Albacete, one of the leading cases against the company related to claims of its former employees.
Specifically, the court ruling that the statement is based is a step in the series of complaints and implementing decisions and embargoes that have accumulated against Ges Cleyton from that, a year ago, announced his decision to leave project for lack of economic viability.  Now the court has found, while trying to run Ges Cleyton goods to address payment of 11,800 euros for one of the workers, that "the actions and investigations carried out" have no positive result, ie not found property to run, so he remembers the insolvency issue, which is provisional.
. The decision was published in the Official Gazette of the Province, as follows Cleyton Ges "in whereabouts unknown," as recorded by the warrant.  Are also other actions in the courts against this company, both in courts and in Albacete Murcia.
Embargos
Recently, on 24 September, the Labour Court No. 1 of Murcia also remember the freezing of assets of Cleyton Ges, other labor dispute in this case of around 52,000 euros.
Moreover, a group of people affected by the stoppage of the project, mostly British, announced his decision last summer to take legal action to claim back the money contributed, which they estimate at more than two million euros, they have not received their houses.
