I live on Jacaranda, have posted the following message on another Almeria web-site trying to get as many people as possible on all Huerta Nueva urbanisations to view this.

It is in excess of 5 years since the first urbanisation on Huerta Nueva was started, and still the Commercial Centre has not been built.   This was part of the deal that everyone purchasing on Huerta Nueva bought into, so it is in all our interests that the Centre is built without further delay, and at present we have no firm evidence when work will commence, if at all.   Any sugestions, opinions, and support are welcome, as this is a concern for all urbanisations on Huerta Nueva, including villas.   I believe from what Barry J has posted before, that the presidents of the various urbanisations usually meet with BMS in January.   So please lobby your presidents to bring this up at the next meeting.   Please PM with any suggestions for moving forward with this issue.   At the moment Huerta Nueva seems to be a number of individual urbanisations which need to pull together on this issue, as we are all divided at this time.

I read with interest your comments on the communal areas of Los Olivos.   We are on Jacaranda which is the development before yours.   We had a contractual finishing date of December 2005 and we personally exchanged contracts towards the end of May 2006.   I am posting some photos of the toilets on our communal area the purpose of which is to serve the pool area, as you will see by the photographs these toilets have never been finished a year on.   Indasol the maintenance company for the communidad will not clean them or lock them because they are not finished.   BMS for some reason still do not want to finish them.   We have asked for reasons but have received none.   Also there are pictures of the car park on Jacaranda, you will see from the photos that cars ground on the way down and also on the way up.   As at last week when the photos were taken there were only 2 cars in the car park.   We feel the car park is really not fit for purpose.   The photos of the toilets were also taken last week.   We find it impossible to accept that they can take our money so readily but do not have the professionalism to finish the job or even talk to us and give satisfactory answers.   The toilets are surely a health and safety issue but this does not seem to bother BMS or the constructors.  So when your agents snag your properties it is probably advisable that they also snag the communal areas.   I am now going to post the pictures in the appropriate section.   Good luck with your property completions.
