can anyone give directions to Dickmanns at Alicante airport once the terminal is reached please? I understand it is not located in the terminal building.

Hi Cath & Kevin

 

We used Gary @ Polar Air for our 2 bed apartment - we had 3 indoor units (bedrooms & living room) and 3 outdoor units. These were Panasonic Inverters and the cost including surge protection was €2,100.00

Gary is extremely helpful - he couldn't connect the surge protector until we're off builders electricity but he's left the equipment with us and will come back to do it once the power is connected up to the utility supplier.

He has fitted lots of apartments on the Jardines and does a very good job.

We're on Jardine 4 and back out early December.  From what we've heard from friends out there, we may be using the units for heating!

Here'sanother quick tip re dishwasher connections...... If you're not planning to install a dishwasher, block off the end of the waste pipe, it will help eliminate the offensive odour coming up from the drainage system.  They don't seem to have the same u-bend system as we do over here. As a temporary measure kitchen paper and clingfilm worked well.

We are on Jardine 4, and will be there from Mon 8 to Fri 12 Sept ..........furniture shops here we come!  Does anyone know if the bar will be open by next week?  If so, it'd be great to meet up with fellow Condado's
