hi everyone,just read through the latest posts,there is an awfull lot of people in the same boat,and your right who said the clever ones got out early our friends did and they bought a place in san juan.they have been there 4 years its quite nice its called beverly hills its on the mountain side just back from the beach they were told no one would or could ever build in front of them ! guess what 2 years later they have built right in front of them and they could not have packed more in if they tried,ruined the place,so you never know maybe waiting and fighting for your refunds isnt such a bad thing as long as you get it in the end and you can afford to wait and pay the legal fees,one thing is for sure you would think very hard before doing it again wouldnt you.ours is at court waiting a response from caja murcia who we have several bank guarantees from, been fighting for it with the solicitors now for 18 months, plus we asked for the refund ourselves 6 months before that, bought in 2004 oct i think its now so long i struggle to remember.shame because it would have been lovely,anyway keep battling the bastards, they must not be allowed to get away with anything.please post if you have any positive news as well as bad it gives us all hope.

thanks, i sort of thought that is what you meant, is this because you do not have a bank guarantee,i have just had an email from my solicitor saying that the bank caja murcia whom we are claiming our refund and costs from have have now been notified by the court of our claim against them and they must respond to it .so hopefuly things will start to happen soon.

hi seans and anyone else in a similar position,we seem to be in excactly the same position as you and others,we paid around £50000 plus the deposit 3000euros and now the solicitors fees some 2500 euros we have all the bank guarantees 4or 5 of them we were told we would have no problem getting our money back that was 18 months ago still waiting for the first reading at court,i think we thought this couldnt happen to us and waited to long to start the process of claiming our refund some 4 years its now coming up 6 years in october,we bought with friends but they did not want to wait and pulled out after only 18months once the contract had run out they got there refund by just going down to mazzaron and waited two days,but this was before the shit hit the fan.dont no what else to do but hope the court can sort it out for us eventualy.

anyone with any new news i would love to hear it but you do hear an awful lot of gossip witch is no good to anyone

HI MY NAME IS PHILLIP

we would like to know if there is anything other than waiting for our solicitor to get somewhere with our case in  trying to get our money back .we have bank guarantees we bought 5 years ago started procedings 18 months ago .i am sure they are doing all they can but we are at the mercy of the courts and legal system.there must be another way to apply pressure.

if there are any action groups or anything to make me feel like i am doing something please i would appreciate the help
