Regarding not being told about bank garantees.My spanish solicitor thinks we should put pressure on the estate agents responsible as they mis informed us of what we were buying.The estate agent has a duty of care to the customer to inform them clearly of all relevant information,and i would have thought we should have been asked to sign a disclaimer to say they had done this.Does anybody know of a consumer advice dept who could look into this.

I was told by the estate agent that the building was guaranteed by the bank when i first put a deposit down 3 years ago,or else i wouldnt have purchsed in the first place.Has anybody else been told this as I believe this is a sales  misell and as such pressure should be put on the estate agent to get a refund and not just on the builder.
