Hi Everyone

Happy New Year to you all.

Well it's the time of the year that Colin & Tricia have been waiting for and counting down the days to, the AGM.

As I wont be at the event I would like to take this opportunity to thank Colin & Tricia for the outstanding work that they have put in over the last year, it could not have been easy dealing with certain people, you and I both know who he is, well done for keeping your cool, it must be that scottish upbringing, thank you again for putting up with most of us knocking on your door for this and that with never a complaint from you.

You can now hand over the reins to the new president, put your feet up and I'm sure you will have a smile on your face as you taste that first dram as the the former.

Enjoy your retirement as it was intended.

Colin, (Un-paid president) thank you very much for putting yourself out after returning from Scotland sorting out the lighting, I hope in no way you felt threatened by the idiot that calls himself diamond, you deserve a medal for putting up with us all knocking on your door with our questions & requests, I for one shall be nominating you for re-election next year if only to stop diamond getting the job, although he may struggle as he has the brain of a goldfish (sorry to all goldfish), Colin, from what I have seen and witnessed your only crime is of being a very caring man who is trying to help others at a difficult time.

Trust me I have no hestitation in saying that you are more popular than "diamond", sorry to say this about a fellow Scot but Gordon Brown is more popular than "diamond"

Hi everyone

2 places we had recommended to us when last over by Jim & Gwen that I would like to pass on, both are in Los Alcazares, "NICO" to the left of the archies, staff were very friendly, food was excellent and if they offer you the shoulder of pork or leg of lamb, make sure your hungry as they were huge.
The other place is "Angela", through the archies and follow on to the next big roundabout, turn right and keep going, you will find it on the right opposite a large hotel, again very friendly staff and excellant food.

Now I know everything on our site is not perfect and having watched my house grow from dirt I have come to relise that Spain is not as perfect as I would have liked and this latest issue is just something else to get over, so here we have a normal guy trying to help from the onset because no one else wanted the job putting his name forward to do an IMPOSSIBLE task, if we as a group of people do not support him who else will do the job and where would we be then, so give the man a chance, we all have issues regarding the development but sometimes there is a bigger picture to look at not just our own.

Colin, I for one would like to thank you for taking on the role, and look forward to hearing from you.
