Does anyone know of any restaurants nearby that are able to cater for people requiring a gluten free diet.  My wife and daughter have coeliac disease and can not have any wheat, barley or rye.  I know most indian food is safe and I hear an indian restaurant has opened in FA.  We usually carry a stock of GF pasta and bread with us, but some places will use wheat flour as a dusting or thickener for sauces, or fry chips in oil contaminated with breadcrumbs.

We are visiting in august for the second time and this seems to be the only down side to our visit.  We would dearly love to be able to dine out comfortably with friends without the stress of upset tummies.

Any advice or help would be appreciated.  (coeliac.org.uk for more info if you are unsure of what I am talking about)

Will you have any supplies for people requiring gluten free products.  We are visiting in august.  My wife and daughter have Coeliac Disease and it is a pain to find the 'speciality diet' section in the supermarkets.

I appreciate you may not be able to as there are so many special diet requirements out there, (lactose free, dairy free etc.).  coeliac.org.uk for more info should you like to find out more.  (1 in 100 people have it).

Interesting reading everyones accounts.  It is encouraging to hear the positives.  We went in the summer last year and are looking to book for next summer.  Was so impressed with the attention to detail and the overall appearance.  The golf course was stunning and great fun.  La Manga beaches and Mazzaron were great and not more than 30-40 mins drive which was definitely worth it. 

The only thing that put us off is the flies.  We went in late June 2010 and found the amount of flies quite irritating.  One of the owners we rented from said that they usually sprayed form the air at the beginning of the season and that we may have been a bit early, or due to the financial climate they may have omitted to do it. 

We want to book again next year with friends but would be reluctant if the flies are still a problem.  Does anyone have any comments or experiences to share about it.
