And have the liquidators been in touch with any one.

Has the Bank taken over any of the building?

Does any one know what we can do as the solicitors in Spain

Don’t look like they want to do a lots.

Hi does any one know if its true that Sifasa has gone into liquidation,

and that the liquidators have taken over all the buildings in Santa Maria village, hence  all does that did not complete will lose there money.

Hi Dan

My Solicitor in Marbella has 2 documents from the Town hall in Marbella saying that the FOL was rejected on two occasions.

so if Sifasa has now got the FOL  throw a judge in Malaga then does this mean that the Town hall in Marbella

has no saying in what is right and what is wrong.

If so are we buying a property that is legal or illegal, or are the courts just going in favour of the developers.

If all the developers are going to get there FOL is this becouse maybe  they are going to help the town hall by injecting lots of money into it, as it is almost bank rupert.

Is this not corruption !!!

I agree with you Santa Maria Village (SML) is a first class development,

However all the bank are not willing to give money for mortgages without the F.O.L only the developers bank will.

Lawyers supporting completions????

I have been to see 4 Lawyers in the area they all tell me the same thing DO NOT COMMPLIT WITH OUT THE F.O.L.

If the granting of the paper licence is now within reach. then why is the Developer try to add interest on our sales price

is it our fault the  F.O.L was not issued.

Why does the Developer not take the Marballe council to court for compensation, or is there more to it !!! and other things might

 came out in the open.

I bought this property as a holiday home, however whether as a holiday home or a resale this is no reason why one should

complete without all the appropriate documents, I am been told not to complete without the L.F.O.

If the developer is not at fault then way does he not go after the Marbella council for compensation?

rather than trying to come after the purchasers for interest to be added on the sale price,is this justice,

shortly this is going to get every ones backup even more and it will be unlikely  anyone will complete.
