There are many different types of beaches in Barcelona and the surrounding areas, so there is definitely something for everyone:

My favourite is Nova Icaria. If you fancy a game of volleyball then this is the place to come. If there are people playing you can ask to play, but note that it gets very very busy and there is usually a maximum of 5 pairs per court. The usual rule is winner stays on.

Have you tried a carboot sale? may seem a bit stupid but i have picked up some really nice furniture in the past at really cheap prices.
