Hi Muriel,
We live for about 6 months of any year in Pueblo Salinas Block 4, and we have had a (Telefonica) phone with a '950' land line number since Dec 2007 - we also have a lap top using a Wifi system again installed by Telefonica and it uses their phone line. We also have 2 friends at Pueblo who have landlines connected, though they use (I think) the Vodafone system link for internet services. We arranged our connection using a web site called "Telefonicainenglish" whereas our 2 friends went to the local Telefonica office in Garrucha. IF you decide to go ahead then you have to make sure that Telefonica have access to the switch box in the building adjoining the swimming pool and also to another switch box under the apartment block stairs or elsewhere for a villa. The maintenance staff in Pueblo sales office area (the elusive community centre building) will certainly help with keys for the switch boxes. Finally we got the impression that Telefonica 'blitz' areas with connections so to some extent we were lucky they were in our area when we applied for the phone. We are currently in UK spending Christmas with our family & we hope to be back in Pueblo in mid-January.
Hope this helps
