Hi I will never have an apartment in this place cause it will never be built but just wondering for those that have got an apartment what did it turn out like. Is it nice up at the apartments is the golf course good etc. Go on make me green with envy!!!

Sorry for been downbeat but don't think i will ever see any good coming from this. Bought an apartment got 1 guarantee aifos got licence but never built and never will. Started court proceedings (not cheap) start of 2008 got an embargo on a property ( yippee I taught ) now find out if aifos go bankrupt before i am settled up i will just have to join the long list of other creditors  (and by settled up i mean no aifos appeals or anything and property sold and i am paid what i am awarded). So I don't think there was much point in trying to go after aifos as they will be bankrupt before i can get anything back.

I think i wasted my money on lawyers. And I know someone else who had the all the bank guaratees and the bank refused to honour them so that person is in the same boat as me now.

 

So what is the solution.

Has anyone actually got there money back from AIFOS by going threw the courts.!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi. I was wondering if any of you have any advice for me. I bought in aljaba at the very start in 03 and paid my deposit and 9 payments. Like you all i was told my money would be passed on only on reciept of the previous payments bank guarantee. My lawyer only got 1 guarantee covering the deposit. Aljaba has got a building licence but has not been started to be built and looks likely it never will be altough aifos say it will be starting very shortly, but i have heard that for the last 18 months . Aifos want an extra 45000 euro to move me to a similar apartment that is being built which is a joke.

What options do i have?

Have i no protection under spainish law?

Can i cash the first bank guarantee?

Has my lawyer any liabilty for allowing my money to be taken with out bank guarantees.

Any help greatfully accepted

Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows whats happening with aljaba block. Back in sept 06 they cleared the site and recieved the licence but nothing i think has been done. Anyone got any advice on what to do?
