Hello, just a few lines until I get more time later in the week as this is my first day back in work.  Meeting went ahead as planned with about 12 owners turning up and went on until 10.45pm.  A number is issues was spoken about,  the main ones being the new children's play area, it's cost and the need to finish off the area by doing some extra work there.  It was agreed that the committee would look at this work and would get the work done but only to a cost of 3000.00 euros.   The new glass curtains already installed on the balcony in D8 was another item which took up a lot of time before it was agreed they could stay .  Any one else who now wants to inclose their balcony must follow with the same design & materials and inform the committee of their intentions.  The committee is now ( don't have the names with me ) 5 strong with Philip in D8 as V/Prisident with Darren staying on as President plus 3 other of which I am one.  Philips is to post a full report on the meeting when he get's the minutes from the administrator and also send such report to all owners if he has their email details.  Another important item was the large crack running down the rear of the building between blocks C&D.  Already repaired once it was agreed that the best way to get Ballester to repair it correctly was to get a independent survey done and go to them with it.  This is going to cost 1000.00 euros and again Philip is taking the lead in this matter.  We were there for 10 days and the weather was great.  Can't wait to go back but this will be in early September.  OK better get my head down before the boss get's in.  Jan & Dave in F4.

Keep up the good work of informing us and the rest of the owners of what's going on.  Most of us only get out there every few months or so and any news of what is happening helps us.  We think your questions are spot on and look forwards to the answers if any.  We are next out in early March and hope to meet up with you then,  Jan & Dave in F4                                                                                                                                                       l

Hello, just received a message from Ballester which give the following information,  The meeting on the 5th Feb is a meeting for all the owners of the community, Jardines de Altea Hills.  It is not called by Ballester but by the community administrator, Mr Jose Revert Calabuid, c/Conde de Altea, 35, 1A, 03590 Altea.  Tel # 96-5845781, Fax 96-5844328.  For more information you should contact Mr Calabuid.    

The message goes on to say that the certificates of Habitation for Jardines de Altea hills have been granted and asks when we could collect them from Ballester.   We expect to be in Altea between 10th - 16th Feb and at this time are looking to connect up both the water and electircity to our apartment and well as collecting the certificates of Habitation.
