Ladies and gents, thought I'd throw in some of my experiences and guest comments from our year to date. We are manzana 4 by the way.
So far we have had our best year but prices have had to come down and we have worked much harder at getting the bookings. Repeats this year have been better and longer, and word of mouth has helped. Referrals from the websites are down, but occassionaly there are some good rentals.
Guests have commented how good the place is and how well served it is in terms of restaurants and the new shop. Feedback for Andys restaurant has been universally excellent (I might even go myself as im heading out this weekend) though La Reserva whose reputation was reasonable when it first opened has failed to maintain its high standards and fallen off our guests favourites. El Rancho (thought not my personal favourite) keeps getting great comments year on year so bravo.
On a side issue, ive been inundated by new rental companies offerring mega rentals but havent been convinced by any.
Facts are facts, the coast is quiet, its expensive if you are coming from the UK so i continue to have to work hard to get guests to committ, but once they are there, it is positive!
