We STRONGLY oppose the use of Ramon or any other security guard!! Being in electronic security for over 20 years security guards have no deterrent what so ever at the best they are a glorified receiver for post, etc. If criminals want to break in then all they do is wait until Ramon has done a patrol and then break in. What you need is a 24h deterrent barking dogs and grills are excellent we have invested in an alarm system which signals us back home if set off we can then phone in and turn the alarm bells off. 

What research has been undertaken into regulations for security personnel?  what other organisations are available rather than a one-man-band, that deems himself as Security! as break-ins only happened when he was so called patrolling the area. everyone needs to take responsibility for their own security and not be complacent, leaving doors/windows open at the rear of their property when they are sat at the front, and ensuring they have secured the doors/windows & shutters when going out, even if it is for a short while. 

In my experience it does not matter how much security and safe guards you have someone will still get broken into, if they are determind to break in, so paying someone is in our view is a waste of money.
