Hi

We completed on our apartment in block 17 last week.

We were told by Ros Y Falcon that it would take about 4 to 6 weeks for utility connection. However, we received an e-mail from our lawyer on Tuesday implying that everything was on.

We will double check with them first but, all being well, we will be coming out next weekend to order our furniture. Once we have an idea of delivery timescales we can decide on a date to move out permanently.

What is the 3 month deadline that you refer to?

We were originally told that the completion date was August 2007. As they are already 3 month's behind and it will be 4 months come Christmas, does anybody know where we / Ros Y Falcon stand legally?? I have read that people have pulled out because target dates had not been met....is this due to this 3 month deadline??

Hi

We have been advised by our lawyer that Ros Y Falcon are pushing for us to complete on our apartment in phase 3, block 17 by Christmas.

We did visit Duquesa in October to view the apartment, however there was a mix up at their end for which they have apologised and we did not get to see inside.

We have arranged to fly out again in January, and do not want to complete until we have viewed. Does anybody have any experience / advice around this situation which may help us to delay??

I actually contacted this 'Simon' via the link in one of the e-mails yesterday. We are waiting to complete in block 17 at the moment, we purchased our property off plan almost 18 months ago.

When we saw a property in the same block for sale at over 83,000 euros cheaper than ours we felt that we had to look into. It did sound too good to be true but we couldn't ignore it. He sent us floor plans for apartment 1 in block 17!! Does he actually have the property to sell or is he just taking people's deposits and running??

We certainly won't be looking into this any further now and wouldn't have proceeded with anything without our lawyer checking it out for us. Its just reassuring to know that we aren't being ripped off!!

Hi Bernie

We have bought in phase 3. We are getting married in July and will be moving out as soon as it is completed, to live and work full time. It's looking like that will be towards the end of the year...don't know if anybody else has heard anything different??

I'm a personal trainer and beauty therapist and will be passing out my leaflets once I'm set up out there. So if you or anybody else in the area needs any pampering, I will be on site!!!

Looking forward to meeting everybody.
