I would advise anyone who is using Diana Zuuring to contact her to confirm your "fees" with her as we have just been stung by them.

We were expecting over £9000 for a refund on a property deposit, so we gave  Diana Zuuring power of attorney to complete the transaction . Once Diana Zuuring had received our funds she then took it upon herself to deduct her "fees" before forwarding the remainder on to us - £4000 !!!.

The only fee we had agreed to was the legal purchase fee on a property shown below but all the other "fees" we had been deducted had never been ageed nor signed by ourselves not to mention that half of them seem to be made up !!

This is not to mention that on the purchase of Ocean Greenery Diana Zuuring had failed to check if the developer had a Bank Guarantee losing us £30,000 !!

 The " Fees " -

Hacienda del Alamo:

Legal cost                                             150 + vat

Admin fee for 3 years                           450 + vat

Cancellation fee                                    400 + vat

Legal fee purchase                                1.220,40 + vat

NIE incl Power of attorney info             500 + vat

Total:                                                    2.720,40 euros + vat = 3.155,66 euros

Ocean Greenery: Exp

Admin fee for 4 years                           600 + vat         = 696.00 euros

We have been charged a purchase AND a cancelation fee

We have been charged for the NIE when we flew over to Spain to process this ourselves paying for our own translator !!

We have been charged for 4 years admin on Ocean Greenery when nothing has happened in the last 2 years and the only infomation we received was when we badgered Diana Zuuring for it !!

We are now going to seek legal advice and would like to here from anyone who could help us in this matter

Community thread: Ocean Greenery now in Administration

Hi,

we decided not to go ahead with the Spanish Village apartment over 8 months ago due to the downturn in the economy, etc, etc  but are still waiting for our deposit to be refunded.

We have sent upteen emails and at first we did get replies telling us that the developer and the bank were having meetings to discuss the future of the development.

We were told that the bank was struggling to pay back the shear amount of people that were in the same position as us.

We have not heard anything for 3 weeks now and are also finding it difficult to contact the after sales service, does anybody have any idea what is going on as it isn't looking very promising at the moment.

Regards,

Nightster

Community thread: Is anybody having trouble getting their deposit refunded ??

Apparently we have been informed today that 60% of the apartments are now complete and the rest will be done as soon as the finances are acquired, thus needing kitchens and bathrooms.

Hi Woodentops,

if you dont mind me asking who are the lawyers you are using to sue the developer??
We are with Diana Zuuring and we were put in touch with some lawyers who said it would cost around 15,000euros to sue them, we dont have that kind of money so feel we are stuck to do anything at the moment. We can only hope that someone else takes over and completes.
I have been told that as we have the private contract if someone does we are still the owners. Has your solicitor told you that would be the case? To be honest though the way the euro is at the moment even if that was the case I wouldnt want to proceed further at the price we bought it for as dont think its worth it - what a mess!!

Hello thanks for  the message. I have not been made  aware of him selling the development on but surely if he has we will not lose our deposit as we still own the plot we have bought. I am now going to e-mail my solicitor to check this would be the case and will update on here if I hear any more.
thanks
Lisa
