Hi there:  We have just moved to Catalunya.  We had our E121 but the "free" months are now nearly up..(we never needed to see a doctor anyway. ) Now are consdiering whether to join a private medical scheme...Allainca do one for much the same price as the CatSalud state healthcare scheme. But will that just give us access to hospital care etc.??..what about if we just need to see a GP for minor ailments....does private cover give us access to a local doctor..?? or would we be better joining the CatSalud..??
We are both under 65.
