I dont post many threads or replys,   but talk or 'chat'  seems to be very cheap here...would all involved with investments please base your views on reality. If  you have nothing really constructive to add other than threads like  'jumping ship'  then please refrain. If you base your decisions on hearsay and gut feeling well good luck and you may be lucky but hopefully the rest of us will base it on the reality of the situation

My Solicitor in Vera had said there could be a further complication - basically in their words - Andalucia approves an urban law (the POTA) which regularise the growth of the municipalities in a fixed rate of the existing population. This means that a municipality cannot build more than a fixed number of properties per year. ACC overruns this fixed rate so there are doubts this will be approved.

I have no idea what the consequences of this are but if anybody can throw any light on this I would be grateful.

Lester - I just paid a deposit in May 2005 and signed an agreement with Huma with a stated price so I had assumed this would be honoured when building starts. I  would be interested to know how you got your understanding that this may not be binding please?

I was at ACC yesterday and nothing happening - although cranes etc still onsite
