Hi

Wow, I have just spotted the tarifa I have bought on ACC being sold on another website in another area??. Please check out solvivienda.com under the development  Los Olivares | Huercal Overa . The tarifas are being sold at 139,000 euros. They are being sold as detached properties, fully fitted kitchens supplied with white goods, hot and cold air conditioning to be completed in 18 months. There are many questions that could be asked ( for example; is this a Huma project ). I don't know if anybody else using this forum has spotted these tarifas and I apologise if you already know about them but if you don't please have a look.  They even use the same promotiomal pictures that were uses to sell ACC.

No MikenMandy I have paid 51,000 euros in total to reserve a Tarifa in May 2005. I went to view the site with MacAnthony Realty who now trade as MRI overseas. I obtained a Bank Guarantee with the purchase and over the last 2 and a half years I have been following the story.

Maybe it is my outlook on life, maybe it is the way I look at things but I have only been bothered with the facts of what has happened and why what happened occured. I can understand why things happened the way they did. I do agree that any person who wants a return of their money as part of their decision should have it returned promptly and this does not seem to be the case.( I'm sorry but from a previous view i was led to believe you had no purchase on ACC and trying to rub salt in the wounds of people who did).

I am just a pragmatic person who will await the decision and if it goes positively will be delighted and if not I will be in the same boat as everyone else trying to get their money back. I realise that in the future if this is the case there will be enough stress at that point in time. I will not allow that stress to occur until a firm decision has been made. Life is too short to shorten it even further by allowing negative emotions to rule life from month to month.

I wish you well

Why is everyone so negative. MikenMandy your glass must truly be half empty. There are two outcomes to this situation. It either happens or it doesn't.

Anyone who has committed themselves to this project must make their own decisions on what they feel they must do. The only factor that can determine the outcome of it happening or not happening is time.

The forum seems to have got very negative and depressed. I like to keep in touch with what people think and I take on board constructive comments but where are they at the moment. The reports are in, the Junta will make a decision and that decision will be relayed to everyone concerned. This is what I await and in time we will know the decision.

I await your negative comment.

This instution now has a further four months to approve these, and following this work can commence.

MRI are due to be updated again on this situation in September, and please be assured that this will be forwarded to you immediately.

Kind regards,

Hi Ethelfleda

As buyers on ACC we have two options. Stick with it or pull out. We are sticking with it because my gut instinct tells me that when building starts (if it does,of course) we will have a property in a fantastic location in Almeria. I am sure you are aware of Huma's other Country Club construction at Mazarron. This has had plenty of problems and residents are still waiting for many of the promised facilities. Take a look at the pictures of this Club, the properties and the rentals available. You can see almost exactly what the ACC will look like when construction takes place. I have to be pragmatic and say that anyone who is buying and expecting everything that Huma has promised will be disappointed. Be patient, be optimistic, stick with it ( I presume you are doing ) and there is one thing for certain, we will have answers sooner or later!!
