My sis and I are coming out to La Finca for a girls weekend in Jan.  Heard the Mexican in Benimar is good and fancy a visit.  Is it likely to be open early Jan?  Also can anyone give us any ideas on where to go for good nights out.  Nothing too fancy, just busy enough, with friendly folk for a good chat?

We have paid about €130 for the first 6 months of the year. We have garden also and are on R5. You could try reducing the flow (if that is possible) from the control box sunk in the garden (normally near the steps in to the garden). You probably want to turn this down gradually so you don't starve your garden though. Also when you are over check that there are no areas of the garden that appear to be pooling with water. If so this may indicate you have a leak in the irrigation system.

We completed on our property in Jan 08 and unfortunately, one by one, the utilities have been cut off over the last 6months. We originally set up direct debits with the utility companies so that all bills are paid and so this would not happen. On further investigation it appears the original connection charges have stood outstanding and were never paid. On completion we paid over €1,000 to the developer for connection of the utilities but it appears these payments were not made and we were not aware of this.

Does anyone have any experience of this situation?
