 I was at a meeting in Newcastle on 27 May with several other investors.

A spanish lawyer was present and offered to take on termination of any contracts based on the failure to meet completion date (and not the commencement date as has been discussed at length here).

Can anyone who attended that meeting and/or hired the lawyer to revoke their contract please get in touch please.

Regarding the claim against Grupo Vitalicio Seguros we have good news in relation to the first cases we have filed against Grupo Vitalicio Seguros and we have now Court resolutions in our favour issued by the Court of Barcelona nº 13 along with a ruling order forcing the insurance company to pay plus legal interest plus legal costs of the proceedings. The judge has also instructed the embargo of Grupo Vitalicio Seguros account in order to ensure the payment.

Therefore if you would now like to proceed with this matter please let me know and I will send you the relevant documentation.

I contacted Lexland again about bank guarantee progress in the Spanish courts and received the following email response below.
Still no monies have yet changed hands after over 6 months but apparently things are imminent.

Any comments ?

I received the following email from Lexland on 24 March.

It seems no monies have yet changed hands after over 4 months.
So much for completing things in 8 weeks max.

Note: I've included the email trail for completeness.

Thank you for your email.  Please be advised that due to the insurance company not replying within the allotted timescale we have had no option but to start jurisdictional procedures against them.

We are hoping to receive a positive reply shortly. No monies have yet been received.
