Thanks for the info its good hear of other people's experiences.

We also have an apartment in Block 10 and have stayed there a couple of times and are currently renting it out - please send me a private message if you want to details etc...

Our experience to date has been very positive apart from the usual stuff - snagging list taking time to complete, problems with the electricity which was down to me in the end not the electricity company and the time it takes to get things done - that said we couldn't be happier with the apartment and plan to go out again in September.

I understand Alta Entinas is on schedule to be finished summer 2008 however building work on other developments, the golf course and the infrastructure looks likely to contnue for a few more years. When complete though the consensus of opinion amongst the toursists and locals we met is that it will be 'fantastic' place to be lets hope so.............

I have uploaded two new photos of the Kitchen and Bathroom from the show flat and one of the development which I think is either block 6 or 7. Latest I have heard is they are still on schedule for completion Feb/March 08 - watch this space.

I have uploaded some new photos from my trip at the end of Feb - no choice of kitchen however there are different bathroom suites. Porto Fino is still a building site but is looking impressive, having spoken to Proindal I think it will not be ready until summer 2008 with the show flat supposed to be ready any time now ?

As you will see the weather was fantastic, Almerimar was quite as you would expect for Feb however the place still has a good feeling and I think once all the building work is complete including the golf course and a few more bars and restaurents open it wll be even better.

I have uploaded some photos from my trip to Almerimar at the end of Feb. The development is fantastic I stayed in our apartment in block 10 and apart from a dozen or so little things to do it is ready - furtniture and decoration is to our taste and we have a great view across the developement to the pool and sea beyond.

The weather was fantastic as you will see, the town was quiet as you would expect however lots of building work still going on and I suspect that will be the case for a couple more years.

Photo 2 is block 9 which I was told they are moving forward at a pace however they would not given a finish date. Photo 4 is the back of the developement and my guess is there is approx one year till they finish.

I have lots of photos of the town, marina, golf course, Alta Entinas etc.. if anyone would like them please send me an email.

I have been using the Aftersales service for approx 12 months ( the time it has taken for my apartment in Alta Entinas to be finished ) and so far apart from the time it takes get updates and information they have been pretty good. I have been dealing with one person who has organised my furtniture install, extra work I required, snagging list and has generally been my ear on the ground so to speak...... is it worth the money yes to someone that does not have the time to do all the extra things required get your apartment ready.

For my apartment in Porto Fino howver becasue the completion date is still approx 12 months away all I have received from them is a couple of updates and photos. They do seem however to be getting better at providing more regular updates and information and I myself will probably continue to use them at least until Porto Fino is finished.

I am due out in Almerimar next week and will be meeting with the rentals team to discuss the terms and what they do for their 10% I will update you all further when I get back.
