Hi Nikki,

I was aware of the passes for manzana 9,  but we were told we were limited to between 11am amd 1pm amd then 4pm to 7pm for using the pool up there...is that actually happening

Sorry guys,

I did not post for your agreement, i posted exactly what the heading said "Personal views". I am a dog owner myself and totally agree with the comments Mobailey says about the value of dogs pre-warning of possible intruders etc but there is a difference between that type of barking and continuous yapping of dogs left alone in gardens. I am also a parent so dont have an issue with children but was perhaps rather unwisely referring to a specific household when i mentioned the "parents and brats". If you spent the two weeks listening to what we had to im sure you be a little more understanding of my comments. Im not sure what Mobailey meant by the "sorry but if the cap fits" comment but im not about to fall out with anyone over this. Juner is correct, the positives of San Cayetano do out weigh the negatives. We have had properties in Torrevieja and Le Zenia prior to San Cayetano and they dont come close. As i allready stated we plan to spend a lot of time in SC in the future and after my last visit i just became a little dissillusioned. If my comments have caused offence then i apologise but i felt the need to air my views.

The actual pool may be finished in time, the only thing needed is the rest of the tiles , hooking up the required machinery and filling it with water. That being the case we would be swimming in the middle of a building site, the landscaping has not even been thought about and the clubhouse wont be ready i suspect.

As for cost we have been told different versions, we will be charged a nominal fee each time we use...or there will be a pass to be purchased yearly per household. I have no idea which will be implemented as when you speak to anyone at Taray they cant or wont give straight answer to any question

Hello all,

I have just posted a few more pics on the site. I have just spent two weeks on site and kept a close eye on proceedings. Most days there would be up to 10+ workers on site working at best at a snails pace but at least they are working.

Hello all,

Just thought i would air my views after a mixed two weeks on site, we bought into the San Cayetano dream as a place to holiday and eventually retire away from normal stresses.

Firstly the negatives...we suffered the usual blatant lies from any Taray representatives we encountered reference the new complex  and the problems with existing pools..no change there..no suprise.

I cant believe how much of a downturn the community is taking..i hope for all our sakes it is a temporary gliche. we suffered foul mouthed parents screaming at uncontrolled "brats", dogs running about leaving their little presents here and there. loud music and barking pets at all hours...if you took away the weather we could have been on any council estate in the UK ( I am not being snobbish about council estates, i grew up on one so i know first hand) I understand owners may need to fill their properties but i wish for all our sakes they vet the tenants a bit better. This is not what we paid for!!

The positives.. we met some lovely people, some on holiday some residents, the local restaurants are still of a great standard and Bermans is a great place. The local Police seem to be patrolling the area more which is not a bad thing and there didnt appear to be any issues with locals with the exception of the Taray workman climbing the fence to jump in the pool in work gear.
