we stayed in a 2 bed top floor apartment with a small roof terrace here 5 years ago. we loved the apartment it was so quiete there and peacefull, it was in May. all the 5 pools were lovely especially the massive one with the island bit and bridge, the only thing that spoilt that was the security guard that walked round constantly and shouted at people playing with balls etc in the pool they called him the no fun police!! the only thing that i hated there was that main road, it was a complete race track all the time and we dreaded going anywhere!

Jane we are on phase 2 of cdp and are looking forward to our 3rd year there, we spent 9 weeks out there last year and all i can tell you is that the whole development is now FINISHED!!. everything is built and the roads are completely finished and all painted with shiny new road signs. we watched them doing all this.(will post photos hopefully). there is even a spanish familly in phase 6 as from last september. the pool you will use is completely finished and was full of water in september it looked beautiful, so all i can say is it all looks great and it is the best decision we ever made!  good luck Sharon

i had this exact same dillema this time last year, in England you can go anywhere and get any bike you want! but not in spain. we scoured everywhere, we are in the last tip of Almeria bordering on to Murcia near to Aguilas, they sell bikes in Eroski there but they wouldnt have lasted 5 minuites. but then a Decathlon opened, a very large sports shop, so we tried them and got 2 very good quality mountain bikes.  the ladies was 164euro and gents 275, we could have paid more or less it was a very good choice they have they are both made by B TWIN which is a good make, and very comfortable. i think now Decathlon are everywhere up and down the coast too. good luck Sharon.
