Ya Tom, I have had similar promlems with slow payment of short term rentals arranged throught Albayt and like yourself  I was put off with lame excuses . However our long term rentals worked out fine as payments were by direct debit. When one takes into account the cleaning charges, commission, water  electricity and recent increase in taxes the option of short term rentals   i.e. less than 1 week,  becmes uneconomic.  I will be out at the end of the month and plan to  meet re Albayte re same and perhaps review the possibility of private rental. What's your view .
