I have enquired about a bank bargain on Condado de alhama with polaris world, when i spoke to someone in the uk office they said that a 4000 Euro refundable deposit is required for a mortgage in principle offer. i was wondering if anybody has been through this process & whether they had the same when they brought? as i am a bit nervous of parting with any money just for a mortgage offer as i have never heard of this before.

any advice is much appreciated.
