Have you had any luck getting the complex sorted since last year. We were out in Oct 2011 and other than the pool area the place looked very shabby.

You poor thing, we know how you feel. We also lost our case in June last year. Similar senario, judge sided with developer, despite being a year late and having a gaurentee, ridiculous. We are now appealing for what good it will do, our hearing is in November 2012, yes 2012! We started this in April 2006.

Hi Maria,
We will email you to see if you can help. We are in a similar position, should have completed Dec 2007, but not ready until Jan 2009. We have taken this to court, but judged deemed us to be investers ( which we are not) and as such we are not protected by consumer law, therefore Bank Gaurentee does not apply! We are at a loss, we cant afford to lose an appeal, but can't afford to procced with completion either. Help.

Hi
Thanks for that information, it helps hearing someone speaking with empathy.We feel as if we have been banging our heads against a brick wall for some time. We have been offered the opportunity to appeal ( another £1000) but we don't know what to do. We have been hearing alot about law 57/68, which implies the Bank Gaurentee has to be honoured. Do you have any experience of this? Any ideas what the properties are worth now?
