    We are currently trying to pull out of the Alamnzora Country Cub as our two years is up. However we are having great difficultly via our solicitors Fusters and co. in getting the Power of Attorney sorted out without travelling back to Spain as they insist on it being signed by us in the Uk in presence of a Notaire. We have done this in the presence of a Conveyancing Solicitor but Fusters refuse to accept this saying it has to be in front of a Notaire. Have anyone knowledge of Notaires existing in the Uk it was my understanding that our equivelant would be a conveyancing Solicitor?

       Can I throw something else into the mix here. The main complaints so far have been in relation to the delay etc... However the biggest dissapointment for me recently when receiving the glossy brochure was the apparent down sizing of all the facilities on site. When I travelled to Spain 18 months ago Parador advertised the Country as having Tennis Courts, Driving range, Sports centre, table tennis, Five a side football pitch. Looking at the new plans all these have gone and we have an equestrian centre, Bowling Green and what looks like an extremely small swimming pool on the site! Looking at the new plans there appears to be no mention of all the facilities that have now seemingly dissapeared. I do not know how everyone else feels but having small children I was counting on having more than just an apartment in the middle of a remote site with just a bowling green and paddling pool.
