Have just been reading the messages regarding the 300 euros Tecnologia are trying to extract from the residents of Phase 1.  We have also received a letter asking for the same amount and are of the same mind.  We also thought the company were trying to obtain enough cash to complete the site.  We, at the moment, do not intend to send any money until the pool, gymnasium etc. are complete. As you say we have already paid for all these amenities in the purchase price of our properties. We were not aware of any meetings in 2005 or at any other time, and have never heard of Mrs. Maria del Rosario and we were always of the understanding that when the site was complete it would be handed over to a residents committee after 12 months had expired under the builder and as it is still not complete how can they demand any money. We shall be in Spain in November and  will seek advice from our solicitor. There was a meeting in Orihuela on the 20th. Sept. 2007  with the largest  political opposition party, the PSOE, specifically for the people who have been experiencing problems with Tecnologia Urbanistica and people were invited to attend and submit photographs and written evidence of  their concerns  regarding this builder.  We shall  be very interested to hear what  occurred.

We have not been on the message boards for quite some time, we had hoped things on phase one would have improved, but on reading some of the letters all is still not well.  We have had some really bad damage to our property because of  shoddy workmanship.  A drainpipe was not fitted properly, it came away from the wall in  very bad rainstorms and caused the walls in the dining area and back bedroom to become saturated inside.  When we arrived in December last year all the walls were covered in a black fungus as were the beds all the bedding, curtains, wardrobe and bedside cabinet.  It was heartbreaking after leaving it looking so lovely with all the new bedding etc.  To get the builder to do the repairs has been a nightmare, we have spent a fortune on telephone calls from England, e-mails and faxes to numerous to mention, all have been ignored completely.  We have asked for compensation from the customer DON'T care service dept.  who have passed it on to another dept. they say. the manager of that dept. is in hospital, they say.  It's obvious to us that nothing will be done but  we are going to be a thorn in their side for a long time to come.  That is if they are still in business, which seems to be in  doubt reading some of the messages.  As you say it is a really nice area, and we just hope things will get better in the short term, the pool area will be completed and the burglaries cease.
