I also have a question concerning AGM's and EGM's perhaps Maria might be able to answer.  We recently had an AGM and were told that an EGM had been held and another apartment block adopted.  However, at the EGM the only persons present, as I understand it, were the Developer, owners from the block that wished to be adopted and the Administrator.  The President of the Community wasn't there.  My question is:  Was this a legal EGM meeting if the President wasn't there to act on behalf of the majority of the community.  Therefore, were the decision/s i.e. apartment block adopted legal?  Would be very grateful for any advice on above.

Brian,

If the information re: BG's and 'where the deposits went', was disclosed at the meetings held by Almudena in England it is in the public domain.  So why are you and Tony making such a meal of letting people know the answers to these questions?

Are people being punished for not turning up at the meeting?  Surely not..... that would be a little infantile.

If there is anyone else out there that went to the meetings and can anser Arlene's question, please do so, it really would be nice to know the answer.

I've had a brief email from my Solicitor who says that the votes have to be validated by the courts - so at the present time there is no official news.

 

Maybe Almudena is being slightly previous in her postings to Tony
