Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you  Mikenmandy.  We've never asked when the whole site is to be completed.  They have just completed a couple of blocks of bungalows at the top end of the site & we understand there are few more areas around the edge of the existing phase of the estate to be built as well as some shops more centally.  There may eventually be  a golf course but if and when we don't know  - we don't play so are not too bothered about that.  If it happens its a bonus as it would help the resale value.  The areas still to be built  should not cause too much disruption to the properties which already exist.  If all the estate is built as originally planned the building will go on for a year or two more but that will probably depend on the demand in the Spanish property market.  We like the estate as it is quiet but has easy acess to both shops on the Camposol estate and Mazzarron town plus its not far to the beach and it is tidy and well kept.  Also with the opening of the new motorway it has very good access from the airport - it used to take  over 1 hour but is now under 3/4 of an hour.  What is more important is that we have a property for our money and have already had holidays there and have a couple more booked for this year.

Hi All

We saw, liked & paid our deposit for a Donana at ACC in June 05 & like all of you were very upset to find that everything stopped on Oct of that year especially as we did not find out until December and so spent as very unhappy christmas.  Then like all of you we waited & waited, joining the ACC website & trying to find out as much information as possible.  However, in September 06 we went out to Spain visited ACC site, saw our solicitors & finally went to see Huma at Mazarron.  It became obvious that Huma were not able to give any further information out as to when ACC would continue as they did not have idea of the timescale themselves.  We decided we would therefore have to have our money back.  However,  we quite liked Mazarron & asked about villas for sale there.  We looked at many & eventually bought  a villa on Mazarron which was already legally built.

This may not be what everyone wants to do but we have been very happy with out decision.  Huma were, of course, very helpful & everything went very smoothly with the purchase.  Also Huma have been very good putting right any little problems that we have had with the villa, in fact, in the main, the build quality is very good and the plot is quite a bit bigger than on ACC.  We have already had holidays out there & will be going out again shortly.  We wish you all well with ACC but there are alternatives if the worry is just too much!
