Hi all.

Just stumbled upon this forum again by accident - after losing our life savings to the low life who, like everyone, promised us a bank gaurentee and being scammed by the lawyers who represented us....just wondered if anyoine ever managed to either win a case and get any sort of refund ??

Sell on my contract would be perfect, all the estate agents I have spoken to would not even start to market unless I had completed.

The advice I had when I purchased was that it would be easy to sell on the contract -it appears this won't be as easy as we thought.

The one good thing is that I can offer a decent discount as the € is so strong against the £ at present.

You must lend me your calculator some time.........either that or PM me with the names of anyone who wants to buy my apartment - great location, overlooking the pools. There will be a huge drink in it for you if you do.

I'll even let the buyer make me an offer and i'll take it from there......

Hi all

have just recieved a letter from our solicitors instructing us that we have 30 days to complete or "risk losing our monies through not fulfilling our contract".

Letter also states that the developer may be in financial trouble so trying to reclaim deposit would be "not advised"  and that the developer is looking to be declared bankrupt.

All in all not great new's either way...............

Does anyone know what happens if we complete and the developer/development goes bankrupt....what will happen to all the other apartments that are not sold...will the development be a ghost town with only a few people in residence ??

How I wish I'd never got involved in this development, but with so much deposit already down its hard to decide what to do.
