Hi

We live in the UK but, having both family & many friends in Spain, we have visited for 4 months a year for the last 15 years,  2 x 2 monthly stays in Spring & Autumn; sometimes staying with family but usually in rental accomodation.

We are both currently 69 but our travel insurance premiums have been rising dramatitaly each year over the last few years to the point where, once we hit 70 later this year, I fear our annual visits to Spain may no longer be economically viable.

My wife is “athlete fit” but I do have a couple of minor medical conditions. I was also diagnosed with prostate cancer 4 years ago but, having had the thing removed, on-going annual checks show it's no longer a problem; apart from that we are both healthy & fitter than most.

We are not bothered about insurance cover for flight cancellations, curtailment, loss of luggage, personal possessions etc, so I’m wondering if it’s possible to get insurance to cover us for medical emergency/treatment only during our annual 2 x 2 monthly visits to Spain?

I can’t imaging we are the only ageing folks in this position so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

All now sorted; on the way to Benidorm the wife spied an Opel dealer on the N332 in Albir, which strangely didn't come up in my original Google search. Girl in there couldn't have been more helpfull, double checked the paint code for me & oredered me a kit which I can pick up on Tuesday.

Thanks to all for the replies; I have thought about using ebay as I'm a regular user in the UK but delivery to a Spainish adress might not be straight foorward under ebay rules & there may also be a problem collecting/personal identification from spomeone elses Spanish postal address so easiest way may be to register another ebay account in their name - all a bit messy! Will check out Feuvert as am going to Carrefour in Benidorm later.

Hi

I’m staying in Calpe does anyone know where I can buy a small paint touch up kit for an Opel Corsa (pepper dust). I drove all the way to an Opel dealer in Benissa but they only sold new cars & did servicing. My Spanish is not fluent & I was unable to get any meaningful advice on where I could get some from the only guy I could find in the service bay.
