I had ordered furniture for my apartment from Galeria (near Estepona on N340) and paid a deposit.  I have subsequently cancelled my contract with the developer since I was not satisfied with the apartment.

Galleria has given me a credit voucher for the amount of 1800 euros and can be used by anyone wanting to purchase their furniture pack.  I am prepared to give the voucher for half price or in return for using your apartment for a holiday bread at a convenient time.

If anyone is interested, please let me know.  Even if you don't want the voucher, it's worth having a look at Galeria for your furniture.  It is located on the left hand sideon N340 just before the Estepona round about.  I had looked at all options, such as Imperial, Villapac, etc and Galleria turned out to be thye best in price and quality.

The bank worked out the mortgage amount based on current valuation (which is well above the amount that similar properties are advertised for sale in the development).

Steve,

Did you have to take their home insurance policy?  Does your mortgage term allow you to pay off the mortgage anytime during the mortgage term?  The bank is not keen to send a copy of the full terms and conditions.  They have told me that I have to take their home insurance policy in order to qualify for the standard terms you quoted.

This is what I got from my silicitor on friday:

We can confirm you that we had received a fax from the developer with the Final Certificied of the works, the developer mortgage conditions, and the liquiquidation of the taxes for the habitation license of Blocks 8,10, 12 & 14, so the habitation licence will be granted very soon.

So it looks like block 12 is also included.  I am told anticipated completion is end of October.
