Hi Mancity1234, and welcome to La Tercia,

Maundy Thursday is a national holiday, therefore many shops and restaurants are closed. Dos Mares is open 365 days  but I can't find any definitative information for Eroski opening hours (hopefully one of the residents can confirm?). 

I am over with my family on the 29th March (until the 8th April); if somebody does confirm it is closed I am happy to pick up a few essentials the day before.

Dave and Pat,

I purchased a Swing on Phase II last December. I opened a Sight account at the Los Alcazares branch of Sabadell. Whilst I get charged a fee of around 15 Euro every quarter, you are assigned a member of staff which has taken alot of the stress away when dealing with a foreign country.

Please private message me if you want my UK home number to have a good chat one evening. It has been a learning curve, but I have found my way through it with help from various people. I got sick of the people trying to discourage me (people who didn't even have a place on the resort). My wife and kids were over the moon when they first visited (after I had done all the decorating and sorting out).
