You need to do your sums before you consider renting out.

I have lived on Phase 1 for 14 years and  there have been many repossessions because the owners couldn't pay the mortgage.Long term rentals are usually ok from October to May.In the summer months you could get a lot more..I suggest you read the rules regarding how long you can stay here yourself after Brexit,if it ever happens!!

As the other person said you have to pay tax and probably management fees out of the income and on top of that it is approx 2000 euros per annum to live here in maintenance and property taxes without your utility bills.

Beautiful apartments but be wary.There are cheaper places and these are uncertain times.

Incidently the Community is not in debt and Roda Golf thrives in the winter. Roda is a lovely Spanish village.

For those people that do not already know there is a new ,quite big supermarket in the village,opposite Campbell's.It has freezers and tapas.it opens from 0830 to 2030

Also a new Indian restaurant round the back of Campbell's will be opening soon.

It seems inconceivable that flood gates were put on the garage under Bloque 31,Phase 1 and yet the the garage on the same side, no more than a couple metres away,under the semis, on phase 2 has no gates. It is glaringly obvious what is going to happen if these flood gates are ever closed.

The wall to all the garages on Phase 1 P11 were built up so that the new flood gates could be fixed to them.I live here permanently and watched them do it.There are also gates across each path.When all these are shut ,the water from the second roundabout onwards has nowhere to go.

My opinion is that it will go into the garages in Calle Cantil and flood quite a lot of Phase 2 in that area, and also the villas

Lets hope there is never a repeat of last December or I am proved wrong.
